NEWCASTLE, UK.- Photographer Spencer Tunick is looking for volunteers to pose naked on Tyneside on July 17. He is calling for people all across the UK to participate. The work will later be displayed in the Baltic Contemporary Arts Centre. BBC3 will broadcast the installations.

Born in Middletown, New York, 1967, Tunick currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. His temporary site-related installations include the MOCA Cleveland (2004), Institut de Cultura, Barcelona (2003), Saatchi Gallery, London (2003), XXV Bienal de São Paulo, Brazil (2002), Valencia Biennial (2001) and the Vienna Kunsthalle (1999).
