PITTSBURGH, PA.- The Andy Warhol Museum has added Scott Mory to The Warhol advisory board effective September 2021.

Mory is Carnegie Mellon University’s (CMU) vice president for university advancement where he is responsible for overseeing the university’s overall advancement efforts and for building partnerships with all of the university’s philanthropic and volunteer communities, including university alumni, parents and friends, charitable foundations and corporate donors.

Prior to joining CMU, Mory served as associate senior vice president and campaign director at the University of Southern California (USC). Prior to USC, Mory served as assistant vice president for alumni relations and annual giving at George Washington University, where he was also an adjunct professor in the university’s law school. His previous professional experience includes clerking for the Hon. John Garrett Penn of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and practicing as a litigation associate at the New York office of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP.

Mory holds a bachelor’s degree from the George Washington University and a juris doctor from the George Washington University Law School.

“Scott Mory’s deep experience in the academic world is matched by his enthusiasm for our entire community. I’m grateful to have Scott’s support and counsel as The Warhol enters a particularly exciting and expansive stage,” stated Patrick Moore, director of The Warhol.

“The Warhol is one of the crown jewels of Pittsburgh, with a rich legacy of celebrating one of the most iconic artists of the last century. I am honored to join The Warhol’s board of advisors, and look forward to working to advance this incredible institution’s mission,” says Mory.
