Director of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Tania Coen-Uzzielli: I welcome the appointment of Maya Vinitsky as Curator of the Department of Design and Architecture, and thank Meira Yagid-Haimovici, the founder of the department, who is currently completing her service in the position. The growing presence of design and architecture in major museums around the world attests to the great importance and impact of these fields in contemporary culture from technology to burning political and social issues. Maya Vinitsky comes to this position with in-depth professional experience, broad knowledge, endless curiosity, and a finger on the pulse of what is happening in Israel and around the world.
