LOS ANGELES, CA.- Following the recent announcement of plans to open in Los Angeles in early 2023, the Partners of Marian Goodman Gallery today announced the appointment of Adrian Rosenfeld as Executive Director of the Gallery’s forthcoming Los Angeles location. With 25 years of experience as an art dealer, advisor, and consultant, and with deep ties throughout the West Coast, Rosenfeld will work from L.A. to cultivate client relations and develop new strategies and programs in support of the Gallery’s global roster of artists. He joins the Gallery’s senior sales team on October 1.

The Partners simultaneously announced that Nathalie Brambilla has joined as a Director for the Gallery’s Paris location where she will work with Executive Director Nicolas Nahab on global sales. Brambilla comes to Marian Goodman Gallery from Simon Lee Gallery, where she served as Director and Artist Manager and worked with an international roster of artists across media.

“Adrian will be integral to establishing our new gallery in Hollywood and to deepening the Gallery’s presence on the West Coast. We are simultaneously expanding our team in Paris with the addition of Nathalie, who brings expertise in the European art market. Working closely alongside the Partners as part of our global sales team, Adrian and Nathalie will help create new, meaningful opportunities for our artists,” said President and Partner Philipp Kaiser.

Adrian Rosenfeld

As an art dealer and advisor, Adrian Rosenfeld has spent more than two decades working on exhibitions, publications, and sales with a range of leading contemporary artists. Throughout his career, Rosenfeld has placed an emphasis on advancing partnerships among galleries, private collections, and institutions. Following a 15-year tenure with Matthew Marks Gallery, where he helped spearhead the launch of the gallery’s L.A. location, Rosenfeld operated a namesake gallery in San Francisco from 2016 through 2020, organizing exhibitions with an international network of art dealers.

Nathalie Brambilla

Nathalie Brambilla joins the Marian Goodman Gallery from the Simon Lee Gallery in London, where she has served as Director and Artist Manager since 2016. Brambilla previously served as Director of the Cardi Gallery in London, Associate Director at Hauser & Wirth in London, and as Director at Galerie Perrotin in its Paris and Miami locations. Brambilla began her career at Massimo De Carlo in Milan.
