NEW YORK, NY.- Welcome back to Vallarino Fine Art….This is our 21st video which introduces our new 200-page catalogue titled “Catch & Release”, the launching of our new multifaceted website and the opening of our 3,000 square foot gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut with our longtime partner Abby Taylor of Taylor Graham.

Our annual catalogue is our signature statement that no other gallery comes close to producing. It shows our vast inventories of Post War art along with our vision revealing itself. When you peruse our latest catalogue, please pause a moment, and realize that each work of art has a backstory. Where and when was it created? Where did it go after its creation and to whom? Over the years of its initial acquisition who lived with it and who viewed it? Was it loaned to exhibitions and museums? Has it traded hands only once or numerous times and eventually how did we acquire it?

Well, one doesn’t generally think of all these curious questions…. but in my everyday life it is all I think about! The backstories and future of all these great works of art have finally come into my possession and will be placed into the continuing saga of each work of art’s future.

We will also continue production of our short films regarding what we do, how we do it and will focus our next video on the artists Lynne Drexler, Vivian Springford and Ernie Barnes. Once again, our goal is to produce something uniquely our own showing how art has been part of our lifestyle over the past fifty years and how our taste is ever evolving as our curiosity continues to drive us to places unknown.

Since January, our creative director, Vanessa Vallarino has been designing and composing our new website from scratch, which has recently gone live. The outcome is clean and user friendly delivering an enormous amount of information both visually and written. We are extremely proud of her for accomplishing a somewhat never-ending feat!

Finally, this past spring, we have opened a large 3,000 square foot gallery in Greenwich, Ct. at 80 Greenwich Avenue with our longtime partner Abby Taylor of Taylor Graham. Abby and I have been collaborating partners for the past thirty-five years bringing together our vast amount of experience and our combined inventories that are rivaled by no other gallery.

Once again, we have put our heart and soul into what we believe to be a complete statement for you to appreciate and hopefully our passion and enthusiasm will fuel your curiosity to absorb new ideas as the mystery of art unfolds around you.

Our annual catalogue titled “Catch and Release” means to find something, acquire it, and then place it properly in another’s possession for good keeping”

Thank you for watching and stay tuned as there is more to come!
