VANCOUVER, BC.- The Vancouver Art Gallery Association welcomes two new members to their Board, Josh Vander Vies and Tara Poseley. The two new members were elected last Wednesday, December 14th at the organizations Annual General Meeting.
Canadian Disability Foundation founder, Josh Vander Vies, brings with him valuable insight as a lawyer focused on creating and defending Canadian not-for-profit organizations, charitable status and charitable gifts. Josh has served as the President of AthletesCAN, Canadas association of national team athletes, and a past director of the Canadian Paralympic Committee. Josh won a bronze medal at the London 2012 Summer Paralympic Games in doubles boccia. He is dedicated to advancing inclusion, accessibility and support in the Canadian disability community and beyond.
The Board also welcomes Paulas Choice Skincare Chief Executive Officer, Tara Poseley. Tara carries over 25 years of experience leading vertical retail corporations. Tara has held the title of CEO at global beauty brand, Paulas Choice, since 2016 and has specialized in leading high-growth businesses and start-up initiatives throughout her career. Prior to her leadership role at Paulas Choice, Tara was the Chief Product Officer at Lululemon Athletica and was responsible for a 2-billion-dollar global business. Tara has held President and CEO roles at Sears Holdings, Disney Stores and Design Within Reach.
