Shot of Art Therapy: the Founder of an Unusual Service Talks About the Importance of Art for Modern People

Our modern world and work life can be very stressful. As responsible working adults, we often don’t allow ourselves to relax with hobbies or do things that make us happy because they are thought of as unproductive. We feel the need to hustle and grind constantly. It is called grinding because it wears us down. Once worn down and burned out, ironically, we become much less productive. Ilya Kuzmin, knows this well. That’s why he created an amazing Short of Art project. Shot of Art serves Los Angeles and New York.

New York is a city that never sleeps and is busy, with so many options that it can be hard to choose what to do in New York. Art classes are a great choice. One of the best ways to relieve stress and express our emotions while still doing something productive is to make art. Children still make art as a kind of play because it can be fun. Sometimes as adults, we need permission to relax, have fun and express ourselves creatively. New York has a long and rich art history, with many galleries and museums. That makes art classes or similar one of the best corporate party ideas in New York you could have.
Because art can be whatever you make it, you really can not go wrong. There is no real pressure when you choose an art class for a corporate activity. Everyone can be an artist just by making some art. No drawing skills are required! Art classes make an excellent mini-retreat or team-building exercise.

Art can satisfy that feeling that we have to be productive because it is productive to make a piece of art. While at the same time, art provides a much-needed outlet for stress and various emotions. There is this idea that artists suffer for their art. In reality, artists sometimes make art an outlet for their emotions and an escape from suffering.

How Short of Art Started
With offices in NYC and LA, the project first served busy New York inhabitants only. It took less than 6 months for Ilya Kuzmin to grow into a popular place to relax and test drawing and painting skills. The diversity of the studio’s visitors inspired the founder to offer more services.

Now a wide range of creative activities and new art projects have been launched. The only thing that unites all of them is their affordability, as everyone can create their own piece of art even if they haven’t experienced the art before.

Shot of Art Events
If you are wondering how to celebrate a birthday, art classes are a great way to do that because the gifts of art are built right into the party, and they’ll appreciate and remember the cool artwork they made. Also, it gives everyone something to do without any social awkwardness. If there is any of that, well, everyone knows that artists are allowed to be different, so it is ok.

The use of art as an outlet for human emotions can make us feel better. It is therapeutic, which is why there is the concept of art therapy. Learning new things and how to create things like art is fun and interesting. Other kinds of therapy can be expensive and stressful and have us talking about things we don’t want to discuss. But with art, you don’t have to talk about anything uncomfortable. It is another form of self-expression and can be a kind of release.

Art is unique as a kind of therapy or activity and a healthy way to relieve stress. It is also very useful to develop your imagination and creativity. It keeps the human mind sharp and develops different ways of thinking. There are a lot of benefits to creating art on your own or in a group art class. For the first time in the United States, Shot of Art, located in midtown Manhattan, offers unique art projects and experiences to help you.
