LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA, SPAIN.-The Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno presents The Thousand and One Nights: Sicilia, Morente, Goytisolo, on view through January 22, 2006. This is an exhibition of the artist's work related to the subject of the Thousand and One Nights, comprising sculpture, installations and drawings; from the first pictorial series of the nineties, in which he ceases to work with canvas and prefers virgin wax as his essential material of reflection, to his most recent production. The project is largely heterogeneous and multidisciplinary, based on movements, migratory processes and the transmission of practices and knowledge without which civilisation would not exist.
