Crossroads Cincinnati 2006 Sculpture Conference

CINCINNATI.- The Crossroads Cincinnati 2006 sculpture conference will be held starting this June 21 at Cintas Center - Xavier University. Crossroads Cincinnati 2006 will gather an international roster of artists, art professionals, and art lovers in the culturally rich city of Cincinnati for four days of dialogue, networking and opportunities. Crossroads Cincinnati 2006 sets the focus on contemporary issues in sculpture on the heels of Sculpture magazine's 25th Anniversary and the International Sculpture Center's 45th Anniversary.

The conference will feature Keynote Addresses and Panel Discussions, Mentoring Sessions: panelists will meet with smaller groups to discuss issues examined in panel discussions, ARTSlam: artists present their work in a forum of curators and other artists for discussion and guidance, Vendors’ Square: businesses showcase products and services to the arts community, Video Lounge: video showcase of work on sculptors and/or sculptural themes. Close to 500 people are expected for the conference, including a large number of students.
