One-of-a-kind cultural artifacts hit the auction block
Paul McCartney-Signed The Beatles’ White Album Vinyl Record.

RUNNEMEDE, NJ.- Goldin, the leading collectibles marketplace, announces it has curated a one-of-a-kind pop culture auction featuring iconic symbols of the last three decades, as well as some of today’s most coveted cultural keepsakes. The auction includes remarkable items from some of the most sought-after comics featuring first appearances of iconic characters, signed items from entertainment legends and rare Pokémon Cards, representing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for collectors of all focuses to own a piece of history.

The auction features over 800 items available for bidding and is headlined by significant cultural artifacts, including:

• A 1973 Bruce Lee twice-signed handwritten letter from the period leading up to the legendary actor’s death. Lee’s signature is coveted by collectors, making the letter a notable addition to any action film buff’s collection.

• Several Paul McCartney-signed albums, including The Beatles’ White Album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club, Yesterday and Today, along with a range of other notable music memorabilia.

• Multiple iconic comic books including three first-appearance Marvel comic books of Wolverine, Iron Man and the X-Men.

• 2007 Factory-Sealed iPhone 1: Sealed examples of this world-changing device are reaching a fever pitch, as a 4GB example recently sold at auction for $190,372.80, proving the demand for sealed Apple products is in high demand, with no signs of abating.

• A plethora of highly sought after Pokémon collectibles, featuring a 1998 Japanese Promo Holofoil Illustrator Pikachu card, a 1997 Pokémon Japanese Promo 1st Tournament Complete Set and a 1999 Pokemon Base Set 1st Edition Rare Holofoil #4 Charizard.

• Notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar’s self-published book, titled Pablo Escobar Gaviria en caricaturas 1983-1991, which served as a proverbial middle finger to the authorities. The book begins with a scathing indictment of the Colombian government's importation of cocaine. Most of the copies of this book were burned upon Escobar's escape from prison, highlighting the rarity of this piece.

• A Reagan State Funeral photo signed by five former presidential couples, including Georg H.W. and Barbara Bush, George W. and Laura Bush, Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter, Gerald and Betty Ford, as well as Bill and Hilary Clinton. A notable piece of political history, the photo is a worthwhile addition to the collection of any history and politics enthusiasts.

The items are currently available for bidding as part of Goldin’s December Pop Culture Elite Auction and will be available for bidding through December 20.
