ST. LOUIS.- The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis presents today the third exhibition of Selections from the Contemporary抯 Flat Files. The third exhibition of Selections from the Contemporary's Flat Files consists of works created by the 'art workers' of St. Louis. These workers are the people that remain behind the scenes but who are so important in keeping the machinery of 'art' going. During the day, they earn their living by working in art galleries, frame shops, and driving the trucks that deliver the art to your homes. Without these art workers, we simply would not be able to enjoy so many of the viewing experiences we take for granted and expect. Enjoy--and take note of the talent of the people who enable you to see the shows that you attend.

The Flat Files feature work on paper by artists throughout Missouri and Illinois. This exhibition will be open now through August 20, 2006, and then the Flat Files will take a permanent home in the Contemporary's Education Center.
