Lot 1085 is a Colt Commemorative 22 L (s.n. 4342 A22), new in the box (est. $750-$1,000).



SEABROOK, NH.- John McInnis Auctioneers, LLC will hold a Firearms Collection Estate Auction featuring the partial collection of the late Manly Brackett of Limington, Maine, on Tuesday, June 25th, online and live at 29 Main Street (Route 1) in Seabrook, N.H. The auction will begin promptly at 5 pm Eastern time. There will be a live preview auction day beginning at 1 pm and open throughout the sale. Online bidding will be provided by LiveAuctioneers.com.

The event will feature more than 150 lots of firearms and hard-to-come-by ammunition, to be sold without reserve to the highest bidder, regardless of price. Mr. Brackett, who lived to be over 100 years old, was a longtime gun and ammunition collector. He was also a member of the family that started Brackett Orchards in Limington more than 230 years ago, in 1793.

The sale will include Winchesters, carbines, Poultney and Trimble, Sharps, Evans, Smith and Wesson, Colt Dragoon, military rifles, Colt commemorative revolvers, Pat Garrick, Bat Masterson and more, along with over 1,000 rounds of ammunition. All lots will be on display at a live and in-person preview the day of sale.

Lot 1001 is a Winchester Model 71 Deluxe 348 rifle (s.n. 39052) with a checkered forearm, walnut stock and skeleton butt plate. The length, from the front of the trigger to the end of the stock, is 13 ¼ inches. The rifle exhibits the original finish and bluing. It’s in overall good condition, although a small sliver on the stock is missing (est. $1,500-$2,000).

Lot 1003 is a Winchester Model 1886 42-82 rifle (s.n. 88271), with a full octagonal barrel. The front trigger to the end of the stock is 13 ¼ inches in length (est. $1,000-$1,500). Lot 1004 is a Winchester Model 1886 45-70 rifle (s.n. 1355), patented January 1885; Oct. 14, 1884. With a walnut stock and in very good to excellent condition (est. $1,000-$1,500).

Lot 1005 is a Winchester Model 1873 38 rifle (s.n. 308818B), with a brass falling block and a full octagonal barrel. It’s probably a special rifle, as indicated by the letter “B” in the serial number. The hammer on the weapon is not engaging (est. $1,500-$2,000). Lot 1013 is a Winchester Model 43 218 Bee bolt-action rifle (s.n. 30466A), with a Weaver K-20 scope with Stithmount, Winchester carrions and more, in excellent condition (est. $600-$800).

Lot 1028 is a Colt semi-automatic pistol, 45-50 (s.n. C622), dating to 1912, in good to very good condition, with some pitting (est. $1,000-$1,500). Lot 1029 is a DWM (German) semi-automatic 9mm Luger pistol (s.n. N5410), with a 1922 date of manufacture, including a later leather holster, in very good to excellent condition. DWM stands for Deutsch, Waffen and Munitionsfabriken (est. $1,000-$1,500).

Lot 1032 is a Remington New Model 1858 44 (s.n. 21040), with cartouche on the left-hand grip, a “W” mark on several places, and a “P” mark, good to very good condition (est. $1,000-$1,500). Lot 1033 is a Colt 1851 Navy revolver 36 (s.n. 62035), with matching numbers, in overall good to very good condition (est. $1,000-$1,250).

Lot 1076A is a circa 1939-1945 World War II German Luftwaffe dagger in very good condition, with just some tiny rust spots (est. $600-$800). Lot 1085 is a Colt Commemorative 22 L (s.n. 4342 A22), new in the box (est. $750-$1,000). Lot 1099 is a Colt Commemorative 45, Bellevue Wood (s.n. 2337), in excellent condition (est. $700-$800).
