NEWPORT, RI .- The Newport Art Museum opened the exhibition of lifestyle photographer Nick Mele: "Pages and Play."

"Pages and Play" transports viewers into enchanting interiors where the unique charm of various locations, including Newport, comes to life.

Mele’s photographs capture the essence of Newport and other vibrant locales, from Palm Beach to Cuba, depicting domestic scenes brimming with unfiltered joy reminiscent of carefree childhood days. Each image invites viewers to step into a world of whimsical delight and timeless elegance.

As Nick Mele reflects, "Newport is a town full of history and teeming with characters. It was a magical place to spend my summers growing up and it's a true honor to exhibit my work at the Newport Art Museum."

Nick Mele is celebrated for his whimsical approach to American luxury and elegance, as showcased in his extensive portfolio spanning lifestyle, fashion, and fine art photography. His work has graced the pages of prestigious publications such as Town & Country, The New York Times, and Vogue, while his commercial clients include iconic brands like Ralph Lauren and Lilly Pulitzer.

Curated across the Drury and Library Galleries, the exhibition offers a vibrant and participatory experience. In addition to Mele’s photographs, the Drury Gallery features an immersive environment curated in collaboration with designer and author Danielle Rollins. Known for her fearless use of color, the blend of patterns, and non-pretentious approach to glamorous interiors, Rollins brings her distinctive style to the exhibition. The transformed space, sponsored by Brunschwig & Fils fabrics, invites visitors to become living parts of Mele’s timeless photographs.
