The Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center invites you to attend The Literacy through the Arts Auction. An outreach of Cal Poly Pomona, we are an arts and service learning organization offering cultural events, programming for youth and families, and an exhibit gallery. The Academy for Literacy through the Arts uses the arts as a vehicle to improve students writing abilities, cognitive thinking, and communication skills. The Academy for Literacy through the Arts provides youth an opportunity to succeed as a way to build their sense of worth and achievement, as well as becoming valued, contributing community members. The auction will raise funds for scholarships, materials, and instructors. No child is turned away from classes for the inability to pay.
