Installation view of Art Comforts. Art Remembers. Art Continues.

MONTCLAIR, NJ.- The Montclair Art Museum presents Art Comforts, Art Remembers, Art Continues: September 11, 2001, on view through January 14, 2007. This installation will commemorate the fifth anniversary of 9/11 by recreating the Montclair Art Museum ’s presentation first displayed in 2002, a year after the tragic event. The American flag will be juxtaposed with the text Art Comforts, Art Remembers, Art Continues in bold monumental letters.

Since its founding in 1914, the Montclair Art Museum has continued to grow from a tradition of generous giving by individuals with a vision for the future. You can be part of this enduring legacy by remembering the Museum in your will. Regardless of the size of your estate, a bequest is one of the simplest ways to personally make a difference in the future of the Museum. Other opportunities include gift annuities which offer tax benefits today, and a steady income stream for the donor. Either way you will help ensure that MAM can continue to provide a world of art for the inspiration of generations to come.

In honor of our 90th Anniversary, the Museum has established a Heritage Society recognizing those who intend to support MAM through a bequest or charitable remainder trust. If you have included the Montclair Art Museum in your will, please let us know so that we may include your name.
