MUMBAI.- Gallery Pradarshak will present Stitching Expression, the debut solo exhibition of promising artist Manav Timbalia. This extraordinary showcase unveils Timbalia’s unique artistic style, seamlessly merging traditional needlework with contemporary painting to create captivating works of art.

Timbalia’s artistic journey is deeply influenced by his upbringing as the son of a tailor, a childhood spent amidst the rhythm of sewing machines and the meticulous craft of stitching. Drawing from this foundation, he has developed a distinctive technique that transforms hand-stitched embellishments into a creative language all his own. Every piece in this exhibition reflects his passion and skill, offering a tactile interplay of paint and thread that invites viewers to connect on a deeply emotional level.

Fascinated by human forms, expressions, and behaviors, Timbalia’s creations are spontaneous yet evocative, each imbued with emotions that resonate with his artistic process. The shapes and forms on his canvases are not premeditated but arise organically, reflecting the emotions he feels in the moment of creation. Though unconsciously influenced by his exposure to great masters, his work speaks a language that is entirely his own—raw, authentic, and deeply personal.

With Stitching Expression, Timbalia explores the interplay of texture, form, and emotion, celebrating the harmony between contemporary art and traditional craft. The meticulous detail of each stitch reflects his dedication, making each artwork a testament to the beauty of human creativity.

For over three decades, Gallery Pradarshak has been a vital hub for art lovers and collectors, known for curating high-quality, affordable, original fine art.
