Eli Wilner & Company specializes in creating historically accurate frames for artworks, combining meticulous research and traditional craftsmanship. For both 20th-century and earlier artworks, the Wilner team carefully studies the original frame styles preferred by each artist. Using time-honored techniques like hand-carving, gilding, and delicate surface patination, they create precise replica frames one at a time, to meet the precise specifications for each project. This attention to detail allows viewers to experience paintings as the artists originally intended, offering a more authentic and enriched perspective on the artwork.
