PARIS.- For this anniversary edition, Drawing Now Paris reinvents its visual identity with a new graphic charter that explores the boundaries of contemporary drawing. Through this approach, the fair asks essential questions: Where does drawing stand today? What are its tools, its mediums, its techniques?
From graphite to colored pencils, ballpoint pens to watercolor, portraits to landscapes, abstraction to color, black and white to paper, cardboard, photography, ceramics, and even tapestry, drawing reinvents itself in myriad forms.
Over four days, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the many facets of contemporary drawing through 70 selected galleries, spread across three thematic sectors.
Innovative paths for a unique exploration:
Parallax, curated by Joana Neves, Claudine Grammont, and Elsy Lahner, offers an immersive experience where drawing reveals itself only through a fresh perspective on works that initially defy the classical definition of drawing.
In the Insight and Process sectors, in partnership with the CEA, curator Claire Luma highlights the boldest and most innovative approaches to drawing.
Finally, renowned designer Pierre Yovanovitch will guide visitors through his curatorial selections, offering a singular perspective on the world of contemporary drawing.
A program that challenges the boundaries of drawing:
The program of discussions and debates among professionals, held throughout the fair, will enable visitors to deepen their reflections and better understand the stakes of contemporary drawing.

The Process sector hosts galleries that present specific projects developed in collaboration between the gallery owner and the artist(s) and possibly a curator or an exploration of new directions in contemporary drawing (such as videos, animated drawings, etc.).
