PARIS.- For this anniversary edition, Drawing Now Paris reinvents its visual identity with a new graphic charter that explores the boundaries of contemporary drawing. Through this approach, the fair asks essential questions: Where does drawing stand today? What are its tools, its mediums, its techniques?

From graphite to colored pencils, ballpoint pens to watercolor, portraits to landscapes, abstraction to color, black and white to paper, cardboard, photography, ceramics, and even tapestry, drawing reinvents itself in myriad forms.

Over four days, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the many facets of contemporary drawing through 70 selected galleries, spread across three thematic sectors.

Innovative paths for a unique exploration:

• Parallax, curated by Joana Neves, Claudine Grammont, and Elsy Lahner, offers an immersive experience where drawing reveals itself only through a fresh perspective on works that initially defy the classical definition of drawing.

• In the Insight and Process sectors, in partnership with the CEA, curator Claire Luma highlights the boldest and most innovative approaches to drawing.

• Finally, renowned designer Pierre Yovanovitch will guide visitors through his curatorial selections, offering a singular perspective on the world of contemporary drawing.

A program that challenges the boundaries of drawing:

The program of discussions and debates among professionals, held throughout the fair, will enable visitors to deepen their reflections and better understand the stakes of contemporary drawing.

70 selected galleries

Drawing Now Paris continues to attract galleries with its long-standing presence since the first editions of French galleries such as Papillon, Lelong & Co, Catherine Putman, Suzanne Tarasieve, Catherine Issert, Oniris. art, as well as international galleries like Patrick Heide, Maurits van de Laar, and Martin Kudlek.

• 43% new participants
• 38% international galleries
• 300 artists presented

In 2025, several Swiss galleries will be present, highlighting the significance of this artistic practice in the region. Returning galleries include Galerie C, Analix Forever, Lullin + Ferrari, alongside newcomers such as Wilde, Skopia, and Heinzer Reszler.

Other international galleries will join in celebrating contemporary drawing in Paris, such as Richard Saltoun and Tiziana Di Caro, alongside Templon, Nathalie Obadia, and Claire Gastaud.

New territories, never before presented, will be explored in the Process and Insight sectors.

3 sectors for 3 times more discoveries

Main Sector
Ground Floor

This space is located under the glass roof of the Carreau du Temple and hosts established galleries that present a focus on at least 30% of the total surface area of their booth dedicated to one artist.

Floor -1 (accessible by stairs or elevator)

Insight is a discovery platform that allows visitors to deepen their knowledge of emerging or lesser-known artists, both French and international. These artists are presented solo or in duos by either emerging or more established galleries.

Floor -1 (accessible by stairs or elevator)

The Process sector hosts galleries that present specific projects developed in collaboration between the gallery owner and the artist(s) – and possibly a curator – or an exploration of new directions in contemporary drawing (such as videos, animated drawings, etc.).
