HONG KONG.- This May, Christies will present Hong Kong Luxury Week at its Asia Pacific headquarters at The Henderson, featuring a curated selection of exceptional jewellery, iconic watches, rare handbags, and fine wines. This series of live and online auctions is designed to offer collectors and enthusiasts the opportunity to acquire rare and sought-after pieces that exemplify quality and craftsmanship. Each piece has been thoughtfully selected to appeal to both seasoned collectors and those new to the world of luxury.

Wine | 22 - 23 May
Christies will present two exceptional single-owner sales: Iconic Wines from Joseph Lau Part III on 22 May and A Prodigious Private Cellar of Impeccable Provenance on 23 May. Iconic Wines from Joseph Lau Part III follows the success of Parts I and II in 2022, and offers collectors another rare chance to acquire sought-after wines from Joseph Lau's esteemed private cellar. The distinguished collection includes stellar rarities from Henri Jayer, featuring celebrated vintages of Cros Parantoux from the 1980s to 2001, as well as remarkable offerings from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, showcasing Romanée-Conti and Montrachet from the 1990s to the 2010s. Additionally, it features exceptional bottlings of Échezeaux, La Tâche, and Richebourg, along with a curated selection of white Burgundies, including Leflaive Montrachet and rare dAuvenay Batard-Montrachet.
Notably impressive, A Prodigious Private Cellar of Impeccable Provenance features 160 lots of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, mostly in banded original wooden cases from the 2000s to 2010s. Notable wines include Jacques-Frederic Mugnier Musigny, Domaine des Comtes Lafon Montrachet, Leflaive Premier Cru and Grand Crus, as well as large formats of Joseph Drouhin Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche (up to 9L) and Ramonet Montrachet.
Bordeaux is represented by contemporary First and Second Growths, while the Champagne selection features Dom Pérignon, Cristal Rosé, Salon, and a rare set of Salon Le Mesnil Assortment in original presentation case. International highlights include Soldera from 8 vintages, Pingus, and Screaming Eagle.
Currently, there is an online-only sale titled Fine and Rare Wines Online: Hong Kong Edition running until 24 April, with another scheduled from 13 to 26 June (dates subject to change).

Magnificent Jewellery | 27 May
The Magnificent Jewels live auction this season features over 120 lots of exceptional and rare jewellery. Taking centre stage is The Regent Kashmir, a 35.09-carat Kashmir sapphire ring of historic significance, and The Regal Ruby, a 13.22 carat-Burmese no heat ruby which is poised to be the most valuable and largest Burmese ruby to be sold at Christies Hong Kong in a decade. Also on offer are a 10.35 carat Colombian no oil emerald and diamond ring, as well as a pair of Colombian no oil emerald and diamond earrings weighing 7.03 and 6.92 carats.
Coloured diamonds are another highlight not to be missed in this outstanding selection of exquisite jewellery. Also in the spotlight are a superb fancy vivid purple-pink internally flawless diamond ring of 4.08 carats and a fancy deep blue internally flawless diamond ring of 3.48 carats.
Rounding out the sale are collections from some of the worlds most renowned jewellery houses, including Bulgari, Cartier, Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, and many more.
An online-only sale titled Magnificent Jewels: Online will take place from 19 May to 2 June.
Important Watches | 28 - 29 May
The Important Watches live sales this spring presents an unparalleled assemblage of horological excellence, featuring contemporary and neo-vintage grand complications, limited editions, and unique independent creationsmany appearing at auction for the first time. The sale is headlined by two phenomenal timepieces: the legendary Rolex reference 6100, resplendent with its dragon cloisonné enamel dial, meticulously conserved in the Kings Art Collection since its 1990 acquisition from Butterfield & Butterfield; and the exceedingly rare F.P.Journe Sonnerie Souveraine, with fewer than 60 examples produced between 2006-2018, representing one of modern watchmaking's most technically sophisticated achievements.

Concurrently, an online sale titled Watches Online: Featuring Stories in Time: A Collection of Exceptional Watches is on until 29 April.
