Madison Avenue Spring Gallery Walk will be held on Saturday, May 17
Free and open to the public, visits to the participating Madison Avenue galleries offer the opportunity to discover, learn and have access to view current collections.



NEW YORK, NY.- A prestigious roster of 46 internationally acclaimed galleries will open their doors for tours and discussions of their current exhibitions during the Madison Avenue Spring Gallery Walk on Saturday, May 17 from 11am-6pm. The Madison Avenue B.I.D., in association with ARTnews, organizes this much-anticipated annual event. The event encompasses many of the foremost galleries located on Madison Avenue between East 57th and East 86th streets and the adjoining side streets.

Free and open to the public, visits to the participating Madison Avenue galleries offer the opportunity to discover, learn and have access to view current collections, meet the artists, and attend a wide range of talks and tours conducted by gallery curators. Art enthusiasts and collectors are required to schedule an appointed time for the gallery talks or tours.

Acquavella Gallery Talk: 3pm. Director Esperanza Sobrino will provide an overview of Miquel Barceló and the exhibition on view.

Christofle Gallery Talk: 1pm. Commentary on the limited edition Perspectives collection by Mathias Kiss, from exceptional silverware pieces to smaller objects.

Di Donna Curator Tour: 2pm. of “The Surrealist Collage: Where Dreams and Reality Meet” led by exhibition collaborator Timothy Baum – a renowned poet, essayist, collector, and expert.

Gray Gallery Tour: 12pm. Tour of “Real Monsters in Bold Colors: Bob Thompson and Candida Alvarez” with GRAY Senior Director Raven Falquez Munsel in Dada and Surrealism.

Howard Greenberg Gallery ARTIST TALKS: 1pm-3pm. Clark Winter will be the guest artist to present and sign copies of his new book, Here to There. Photographs from the Road Ahead (Damiani, 2025).

Kate Oh Gallery Curator Tour: 12 and 1pm. New York-based artist, Nevil Dwek works across photography, painting, and writing, creating artworks that blend the surreal and the real by printing them onto aluminum and other materials. He founded DMR Productions, a motion picture and photography company.

Luxembourg + Co., New York Curator Tour: 2 pm. René Magritte: The Phantom Landscape, an exhibition that explores Magritte’s unconventional engagement with the genre of landscape painting in his work. The display will include a site-specific response to Magritte’s work by contemporary artist Laure Prouvost.

Memor Museum Gallery Talks: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm. Explore the stories behind each work in Ingenuity of Craftsmanship to reveal how age-old techniques meet modern creativity to shape a dialogue between heritage, material, and artistic vision.

Onishi Gallery Artist Talk: 3pm. Jewelry artist and Kintsugi philosopher George Inaki Root discuss KOGEI + ART showcasing contemporary works that celebrate Japanese traditional craftsmanship and innovation. Featured artworks vary in mediums and categories.

Rosenberg & Co. Gallery Talk: 2pm. Guided walk-through of the Gertrude & Balcomb Greene exhibition.

Rubin & Chapelle Artist Talk: 1pm and 2:30pm. Learn from artist Andreas Müller. The Austrian artist investigates the preconditions of images and objects by addressing metaphysical themes.

Thomsen Gallery Talk: 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Join us for a curated tour of our Japanese Ceramics: Medieval to Contemporary exhibition.

The Tuipan Foundation: Community Event and Gallery Talks 10am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:30pm. Learn about the cultural significance of yurts—ancient felt-covered dwellings used by nomadic peoples, including early Hungarians. Discover how this symbol of hospitality and community will become a living work of art at Tulipán’s new headquarters. Experience the ancient art of felt-making as we craft a panel for a traditional Hungarian yurt, an artistic centerpiece and gathering space in our future home.
