GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY will present an exquisite personal collection of art and antiques from the estate of prominent Long Islander Laura Leonard Ault, as part of their Multi-Estates Auction on May 31stat 10am. The collection will include Laura Leonard Aults specially curated selection of decorative arts items including porcelain, glassware, an extensive group of Scottish Terrier memorabilia, doorstops, stunning sterling silver pieces from Tiffany and Georg Jensen and much more.
This collection, along with hundreds of other impressive items from multiple noteworthy estates, will be offered along with Fine and Contemporary Art, Antique furniture pieces, 20th Century Modern, Silver, Decorative Arts, Asian Arts, Textiles and Lighting. Previews will be held on Thursday, May 29th & Friday, May 30th, 10am 6pm.
Laura Ault, who passed away in 2024 and her late husband, Lee Ault, were passionate collectors. She was known for being extremely active in tennis, golf, shooting, riding, sailing and skiing, avidly pursuing these sports in the United States and overseas. Laura won many amateur awards, including multiple years as winner of the Women's Golf Championship at the Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley, NY and various golf, tennis and sailing awards from the Tarratine Club of Dark Harbor, Islesboro, Maine. Right up until her death at age 94, she remained a member of both of these clubs.
