Suhanya Raffel, Museum Director, M+, says, ‘We are truly grateful for the enthusiastic support we have received from our visitors since 2021. M+ is dedicated to presenting world-class exhibitions and programmes for local, Greater China, and international audiences, promoting contemporary visual culture in Asia to all communities. The new single-price admission is a result of our simplified pricing strategy, reflecting the feedback from our visitors coming from Hong Kong and beyond, the operational experience gained since the opening of the museum, and our commitment to making the full range of our contemporary visual culture offerings more accessible. By introducing this ticketing approach, we aim to enhance visitor experience and encourage deeper engagement with our exhibitions and programmes.’

M+ will continue to provide diverse opportunities for public access to contemporary visual culture through its dynamic and multifaceted exhibitions and public programmes. These include public talks and seminars, tours, conversations, workshops, performances, screenings, and more, allowing people of different ages, backgrounds, and interests to interact and exchange ideas with artists, makers, and the community. In the 2024/25 financial year, approximately 23,000 people participated in the museum’s free public programmes with gallery access. In addition to the annual free admission days to celebrate, among others, the museum’s anniversary, more than 20,000 free admission tickets will be distributed this year to students, underprivileged groups, and others in need.
