NEW YORK, NY.- Announcing the launch of New Perspectives Art Partners, a unique alliance that redefines the resources available to collectors and institutions operating at the very top of the international art world. New Perspectives brings together Edward & Alex Dolman of Dolman Partners; Brett Gorvy of Lévy Gorvy Dayan; Philip Hoffman of The Fine Art Group; and Patti Wong of Patti Wong & Associates. While maintaining their current roles and businesses, this coalition of chief executives, experts, advisors, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs across the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East will assemble when complex client needs and circumstances require the power of their collective decades of experience, geographical reach, and wealth of expertise. Edward Dolman, co-founder of Dolman Partners, commented, “As the New Perspectives partner with the longest tenure in the art world, I can say with certainty that the moment is right for a new model to serve top collectors and institutions. Whether it’s navigating an inconsistent market, or not being able to rely on the traditional platforms that historically served the market, clients are looking for a resource with a depth of experience and reach. There is no greater repository than Brett, Patti, Philip, Alex, and myself from which we can assemble an ideal team to deliver optimal solutions to any complex challenge or opportunity."

The New Perspectives team will convene to advise clients on a range of significant opportunities beyond the scope of their existing businesses. From fiduciaries, trustees and advisors, considering the dispersal of a major collection; and principals who are building or managing significant private or public collections; to wealth managers and family offices responsible for collections within broader portfolios, New Perspectives is uniquely positioned to deliver the power and capabilities of a large, multinational firm with the creativity, agility and discretion of a tightly focused team.

Philip Hoffman, Founder & Chairman of The Fine Art Group, commented, “The idea of New Perspectives – a veritable dream team – was born from the work that Patti and I have done together over the past two years. When it has made sense for us to collaborate on business opportunities, the combination of our resources has been transformative. And now, with Brett’s tremendous expertise and relationships in the US and Europe, together with Ed’s unparalleled experience and network, and Alex’s reach in the Middle East, New Perspectives is the ultimate resource.”

New Perspectives’ roundtable approach brings together senior executives with in-depth leadership experience and a track record of driving high-level cultural activities across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas – a single resource that does not exist anywhere in the art world. Brett Gorvy, Co-Founder and Partner of Lévy Gorvy Dayan, commented, “Operating in a similar fashion to a management consulting firm, New Perspectives assembles to meet specific client needs, working with their team – attorneys, fiduciaries, advisors – to provide unbiased strategies, across all available platforms, to maximize the potential of their assets. And with extensive experience including acquisitions, sales, investment, collateralization, and more, New Perspectives can help a client align the management of their collection with broader portfolio goals.”

The nature of this small, highly focused group means that plans can be tailored around a client’s specific needs, rather than expecting an opportunity to fit into a preexisting structure. Patti Wong, Co-Founder of Patti Wong & Associates, commented, “Brett, Ed, Philip, and I have been in this business for many years, and what unites us is a shared commitment to transparency and putting the client first. Our collective network gives us the power to reach several hundred top clients directly – a valuable resource, particularly for those who put a premium on discretion. Those relationships also extend to the most talented and experienced resources available to support collectors – we know and have in many cases worked with the top experts in any category."
