DALLAS, TX.- Heritage Auctions announced the return of Erin McGrath to its Fine & Rare Wine Department in the role of Consignment Director. McGrath began her career nearly 20 years ago in Los Angeles, with early roles in wine service and procurement and luxury retail. Her talent and dedication were quickly recognized, earning her a place as one of only five national brand ambassadors for the Bordeaux Wine Council (CIVB), where she helped shape a new generation’s appreciation for the wines of Bordeaux.

From 2012 to 2016, McGrath served as a valued member of the Heritage Auctions team, where she played a key role in operations and client services during a pivotal period of departmental growth. In 2016, she was recruited to lead the U.S. wine department for Bonhams, where she revitalized and rebuilt a struggling division. Under her leadership, the department returned to relevance, reestablishing Bonhams as a credible player in the collectible wine space.

Following her success in the auction world, McGrath expanded her impact through trade-facing roles at Moët-Hennessy, Domain H. William Harlan and Martine’s Wines. These positions broadened her network across Northern California’s most discerning private clients, collectors, and top-tier restaurants and retailers, deepening her strategic understanding of the fine and rare wine market from every angle.

“Erin’s return to Heritage marks not only a homecoming but a powerful evolution,” says Frank Martell, Heritage’s Senior Director of Fine & Rare Wines. “She brings with her the maturity of a seasoned professional, a commanding presence in the industry, and a sharp eye for quality and potential. Her appointment strengthens our team at a time of continued growth and underscores our commitment to serving collectors and consignors with expertise, integrity and passion.”
