NAMUR.- This year, KIKK Festival makes Namur pulse from October 23 to 26, 2025 with a bold, immersive, and resoundingly rhythmic edition. The theme? “Boom boom tchak” — a nod to the pulses that drive our hearts, machines, and imaginations.

For the general public, several key events await!

This year, the KIKK in Town expands more than ever before: nearly 30 installations will take over the city — most of them brand-new works produced specifically for the festival. Expect a full-on visual and sonic experience!

ZIMOUN: a monumental installation in an extraordinary venue

The highlight of this edition: a monumental work by Swiss artist Zimoun, a global reference in immersive sound art, will take over the stunning glass hall of the Institut Saint-Louis. In this spectacular, acoustically perfect space, he’ll deploy a massive wall of cardboard boxes animated by hundreds of motors — a hypnotic mechanical composition of rhythm, friction, and organized chaos. A raw, resonant, almost organic experience to feel with all senses.

KIKK in Town: exclusive works, socially engaged artists, unexpected sounds

The city art trail grows bigger: new outdoor pieces will surprise visitors, especially in the beautiful French-style garden of the Museum of Decorative Arts. Hidden in the bushes, robots by So Kanno mimic natural sounds — birdsong, frog croaks, insect chirps — in Chirping Machines, a poetic and mischievous mechanical installation.

Artist Oussama Tabti presents a resonant, sound installation made of construction site radios broadcasting workers’ songs collected from across the globe. As part of the European Co-Vision project een immersieve installatie geïnspireerd op het natuurlijke erfgoed van Namen. Marco Barotti & Robertina Šebjanič present an immersive installation inspired by Namur’s natural heritage.

And that’s not all: also featured are the large-scale light and sound installation ORA by Joris Strijbos, works Ban Lei, My Name is Fuzzy by Bastien Bron, work by Alexis Choplain a “carte blanche” exhibition by Vivien Roubaud at the Pavillon, KIKK’s own art center, and many more !

De KIKK Market & feestjes

At Place d’Armes, find the KIKK Market under a large marquee — a free space open to everyone, perfect for discovering innovations, meeting makers, grabbing a drink, and enjoying evening concerts and DJ sets.

On Sunday, kids take the spotlight with playful tech workshops at the Pavillon to learn while having fun.

For professionals: Talks, networking, and creative collisions

With over 40 world-class speakers, KIKK remains a must-attend platform for professionals in creative and digital industries. Topics include AI, XR, design, data visualization, music, branding, interfaces, and storytelling.

First names announced: Liam Young, Isabel + Helen, Robert Hodgin, Rebecca Fiebrink, Vera van de Seyp, Yuri Suzuki, Matt Locke / Storythings, Eddie Opara / Pentagram, Base Design, Daniel Simu, Portrait XO, Niccolò Miranda, Antfood, Bakken & Bæck, Hérétique, Tamara Shogaolu, Inès Alpha, Mónica Rikić, Marco Barotti, Robertina Šebjanič, makemepulse, Special Projects, Marshmallow Laser Feast, and many more to come…
