Harvest Nights returns to Newfields for sixth year
Newfields offers dynamic experiences with art and nature for guests of all ages.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN.- Harvest Nights presented by Everwise Credit Union returns this fall from September 26 through November 2, transforming The Garden into 52 acres of spooky twists, turns, pumpkins and ghosts. In this sixth iteration of Harvest Nights, visitors can expect to see favorites from the past back again including the Garden Monsters created by local artists (this year’s theme being Thickets & Thorns is supported by Corteva), the Pumpkin Path of Peril, Ghost Train and Raven Orchard. Although, there is plenty of new, providing guests with the wonder of what is to come throughout the festival.

Inside of Mischief Manor, which is open to all ticketholders, is a brand-new experience curated with the help of frightfully talented collaborators: Color Story Studio, Zhuzh Home Styling & Improvements, Rue de Fleurs and Indiana Paper Company. Explore eleven enchanted rooms and witness how Mischief Manor’s historical features and figures come to life. Upstairs, the new Cutwater Lounge is open to all guests ages 21 and over where guests can have a sip and enjoy the experience on a whole different level.

Also new this year, as guests make their way through tens of thousands of pumpkins and gourds, they will discover the Fungi Forest. More than 50 larger-than-life, handmade mushrooms by Kara Kent and artists from Expo Design will capture the imaginations of all with their striking stature and funky colors.

The finale of a fog-filled evening must be Mischief Manor. Outside, visitors will meet The Three Graces and witness their attempt to keep the house in order while ghosts and spirits alike dance the night away in a party depicted with cutting-edge projection mapping technology by Addy-award winning Lightborne Communication, Inc. revitalized projection makes this year’s show even more enthralling.

Newfields partnered Everwise Credit Union as our presenting sponsor for the second year in a row. “Everwise Credit Union is thrilled to return as the presenting sponsor of Harvest Nights,” said Trisha Smith, VP, Marketing at Everwise Credit Union. ”We’re dedicated to helping people build brighter financial futures, and that commitment extends to supporting programs that enrich the communities where our members live and work. Harvest Nights is a perfect way to connect with the Indianapolis community and celebrate the magic of fall. We look forward to another incredible season at Newfields.”

A Newfields experience is not complete without seasonal food and beverage. Treat yourself to a hearty menu of cinnamon Bavarian crème churros and giant pretzels. Sink your fangs into our vampire fries, seasoned to perfection with parmesan and garlic and sure to be love at first bite. Spirits will be high with beverage choices including the Spooky Campfire Cocoa made with Mash & Mallow S’mores Whiskey, Whiskey Applejack from Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, seasonal cocktails from Cutwater and a lineup of draft beers from our beer partner Elysian Brewing Co., including Night Owl Pumpkin Ale.

“Spooky, not scary, fun for family and friends is around the corner,” said Jonathan Berger, Newfields Vice President of Marketing & External Affairs and Executive Producer of Harvest Nights. “It is a spectacle to witness the transformation that The Garden undergoes for Harvest Nights. This year we embraced beloved elements from years past and put new twists on key elements that are going to become fast favorites. I am looking forward to welcoming all guests to find that nostalgic fall wonder here at Newfields.”
