Oscar Niemeyer.

HAVANA, CUBA.- A sculpture by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, representing the resistance of the Cuban Revolution against US aggression, will be erected in this capital, reported La Prensa Latina on Wednesday.

The 9.5-ton work was built in the Cubana Steelworks Company by a Brazilian sculptor and Cuban workers and is the artist s gift to President Fidel Castro.

“Beautiful, fantastic and already concluded, it is a matchless lesson for those who have never worked Niemeyer s technology,” reported La Presna Latina

Niemeyer s sculpture will be placed at the Havana s Computer Sciences University.
