Mover and Mother-In-Law Charged For Picasso Theft

NEW YORK.- Nahum Kohen, 38, a mover that was hired to move the belongings of a dead man to a warehouse, is now facing charges of grand larceny after two Picasso drawings went missing. The police picked up the mover and his mother-in-law. According to the local police, the drawings are worth more than $60,000 and portray a guitar and a mandolin. These works are part of an art collection owned by William Kingsland who passed away last year wthout a will. The works were photograped recently by a city-hired art consultant for an upcoming auction. The police traced the stolen drawings to Kohen after his mother in law, Ori Lellouch, allegedly tried to sell them. They are both charged with possession of stolen property.
