LONDON.- One of the largest, most diverse, and eclectic selections of automotive and motorsport memorabilia offered in recent years is set to go under the hammer during The February Memorabilia Sale: Featuring the Rob Walker Collection, which runs online from 17-24/25 February. More than 370 lots will be sold at no reserve, including a host of Formula One memorabilia spanning the earliest years of the sport to the present day, with a 250-lot treasure trove coming from the personal collection of Rob Walker.
As many as 19 Formula One race suits will be offered, including a 2006 Michael Schumacher Scuderia Formula 1 Signed Racing Suit (Est: £20,000 - £25,000) worn by the German ace during that years Italian Grand Prixhis last win in Italy in a Ferrari and the meeting at which he announced his retirement. A 2024 Max Verstappen Red Bull Formula 1 Sparco Racing Suit (Est: £15,000 - £20,000) assigned to the driver in his fourth championship-winning year is followed by a brace of 2025 McLaren Formula 1 Aplinestars Racing Suits from Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, the proceeds of which will go towards charity UK Youth and its Avon Tyrrell Fundraising Appeal, plus suits from racing luminaries Nigel Mansell, Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz, David Coulthard, Ricardo Patrese, Jacques Villeneuve, and Damon Hill.
No fewer than eight trophies will be offered, led by the 1970 German Grand Prix 1st-Place Trophy (Est: £15,000 - £20,000) and the 1970 French Grand Prix 1st-Place Trophy (Est: £15,000 - £20,000).
A similar number of helmets will be offered, including a 2025 1986 Nigel Mansell Williams Goodwood Signed Arai Helmet (Est: £5,000 - £10,000), a 1988 Michael Schumacher German Kart Championship Helmet (Est: £5,000 - £10,000), and a Pair of Ferrari 550 Barchetta Helmets (Est: £7,000 - £10,000).
A selection of steering wheels includes a 1984 Ayrton Senna toleman Formula 1 Steering Wheel (Est: £5,000 - £8,000) and a 1995 Michael Schumacher Benetton Formula 1 Steering Wheel (Est: £4,000 - £8,000).
Larger items include 1983 Niki Lauda McLaren MP4/1 Bodywork (Est: £20,000 - £40,000), a Ferrari 250 GTO Front Clip (Est: £10,000 - £20,000), and a 1990s Benetton Formula 1 Factory Wind Tunnel Model (Est: £5,000 - £10,000).
A further 250 memorabilia lots will be offered from the personal collection of former Formula One team boss, Rob Walker, including a treasure trove of historic documents from his career in racing. The truly remarkable collection contains countless pieces of motorsport ephemera, including hundreds of race programmes, period photographs, and letters, in addition to dozens of detailed scrapbooks.
Highlights from The Rob Walker Collection include a Lotus 24 Model by Henri Baigent (Est: £3,000 - £5,000), a tranche of Lotus 49 Chassis 7 Documentation and Photographs (Est: £3,000 - £5,000), and Jo Sifferts 1969 Formula 1 Agreement and Letters (Est: £1,000 - £1,500).
