In Memory of Those That Were Part Of 9/11

NEW YORK.- It has been nearly one year since the tragedy of September 11, 2001.  Presently New York is contemplating various options for what should be built where the twin towers once stood.  There are numerous options for this…and in the end New York will make the right choice and will be stronger.  It is interesting to note that other regions in New York State are in the process of re-building.  Many may not be aware of this, but Broome County is working on a plan for economic development. Broome County has the potential to become something…especially with the Arts growing at such a fast pace in the region.  Broome, like many other counties has lost companies that once provided economic stability.  However, there is nothing to fear.  With the recent movement in cultural diversity the community will grow and attract new businesses within the next year or two.   In celebration of this historic movement The Avenue Art Gallery in conjunction with the American Red Cross will be hosting The Central New York Visual Arts Celebration.  These two organizations realize that without creative people our country would not be where it is.  The Celebration will be held at the Avenue Art Gallery located in Endicott, New York, which is an international fine art dealership representing visual artists. This year’s celebration will begin on August 17th and extend through September 20th.    An opening reception will be held on Saturday August 17th from 5:30 – 8:30 PM, with a live art auction at approximately 6 PM.   In addition, the American Red Cross is hosting a special preview party from 4:30-5:30 PM the opening day.
