RUNNEMEDE, NJ.- Goldin announced the appointment of Charles Blane as Coin and Numismatic Consignment Director. One of the most recognizable figures in the coin industry, Blane brings extensive expertise in coins, banknotes, and medals to the role.
Throughout his nearly two decades in the industry, Blane has brought over $100 million in consignments to auction, including some of the most prestigious single owner numismatic collections. Prior to joining Goldin, Blane began his career at Christies in 2007 before becoming Managing Director, Americas, at Spink, where he developed deep industry knowledge and connections. Career highlights include The Rauf Al Mannai Collection of Coins & Banknotes, The George Blaine Collection of Chinese Coins, The Omar Waddington Collection of Scottish & Irish Banknotes, and the Michael E. Bonine Collection of Persian Banknotes.
