MEXICO CITY.- The Museo Tamayo Arte Contemporaneo presents Train-train Medina, a video by artist Mohamadou N'Doye, on view through August 12, 2007. The video deals with the way many urban centers are built in developing countries and their inherent instability, as well as its extreme vulnerability to the forces of nature.

According to curator Tobias Ostrander, this work narrates a natural disaster and its destructive effects, which are common in many coastal regions economically depressed in Afreca, Asia, or Latin America. The artist also includes animist concepts where he declares he is worried about the lack of respect of this towns towards nature and its latent power.
