Left Coast Galleries Presents Summer Heat 2007



STUDIO CITY, CA.-Left Coast Galleries in conjunction with the San Fernando Valley Art Club (SFVAC) will premiere “Summer Heat 2007” the Summer Gallery Show and Sale, a two week event beginning with a reception on August 4th at 12324 Ventura Blvd. Studio City, CA. 91694.

The exhibition at the Left Coast Galleries will be held from Friday, August 3 - Saturday, August 18, 2007, and will feature the collected art of SFVAC members. The SFVAC artists will compete for a host of cash prizes. Featured works will be judged on categories including: Portraits, Still Life, and Landscape. Winning pieces will be available for sale with a portion of the proceeds being donated to charity: Free Arts for Abused Children.

The San Fernando Valley Art Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1943 to advance and promote the fine and allied arts in the San Fernando Valley (SFV) and surrounding areas. The SFVAC objectives are to provide the public with a fuller understanding and appreciation of the great value of art in everyday life, encourage the production of art and promote a friendly social atmosphere and mutual understanding between artists, art patrons and the public at large.
