BROOKLYN, NY.- Cinders Gallery presents My Prayer For You - New work by Sto, on view October 12 to November 12. A mysterious meteorite was seen falling from the sky and landing in a field in the small town of Greensburg Point yesterday. Smoke and potentially hazardous gases have been reported around the area where the space rock landed, with visible fumes reaching upwards of 40 feet. Scientists, clad in hazmat uniforms, have been testing the air and ground in the area for levels of toxicity. Residents have been told to stay in their homes until further evidence of its' danger is confirmed.

In My Prayer For You, Sto will be exploring the paranormal activity that has been occurring since the arrival of the intergalactic rock in a new body of work that features paintings and sculptures. The work focuses on the faith and paranoia of the people in the community through the tradition of mythmaking, monsters and science fiction style satire that alludes to our everyday struggles.

Sto is cofounder of Cinders Gallery, attended Virginia Commonwealth University's Sculpture program and has shown worldwide including Australia, California and many times in NYC. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
