Jersey City Museum's Fifth Annual ArtRageous Ball

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- The Jersey City Museum’s Fifth Annual ArtRageous Ball will take place on Thursday, November 1st at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson. The Museum has been heralded the best contemporary art space in New Jersey by the New York Times, and the ArtRageous Ball each year attracts a sell-out crowd comprised of real estate developers, financial services professionals, artists, cultural enthusiasts and elected officials throughout the state.

The Jersey City Museum, founded in 1901, is a cultural gem located in the midst of the downtown revitalization. The institution has attracted artists and enriched the community of this thriving metropolis especially over the last six years. The ArtRageous Ball this year promises to be the most successful, and features a luxury raffle with over six grand prizes and a silent art auction showcasing the works of renowned artists throughout the tri-state area.

Fidelity Investments is the lead sponsor of the event, and Panepinto Properties, Applied Development, Exeter Properties, Goldman Sachs & Co., Pershing, Congressman Frank J. Guarini, and SK Properties have signed on as sponsors.

The Luxury Raffle includes the following prizes: a seven day, all inclusive vacation for two in Acapulco; a privately catered party cruise around the Hudson for 40 people aboard The Valiant Yacht; a wellness package featuring a one year membership to the new Club H fitness center; an at home wine tasting for ten plus a one year wine club membership; a Broadway package, including tickets to three of Broadway’s hottest shows; and a 42-inch high definition plasma TV.

ArtRageous Ball tickets are $350 and Luxury Raffle tickets are $25 each. Both are available for purchase securely online at www.jerseycitymuseum.org/artball/artrageousball or by contacting the Museum’s event hotline at 201-413-0303, ext. 104. All proceeds will benefit the Jersey City Museum's general operations, which assist in welcoming over 25,000 visitors each year, including the 11,000 children who attend arts education programs.

Jersey City Museum’s gallery hours are Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 5pm, Thursday from 11am to 8pm and weekends from 12pm to 5pm. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for seniors and students, and free for children under 12 and museum members. Admission is free for all on Thursday evenings from 5 to 8pm. Jersey City Museum is located at 350 Montgomery Street at Monmouth in the Historic Downtown District of Jersey City, within walking distance of the Grove Street PATH and Jersey Avenue Light Rail stations.
