Francisco de Goya, "Children with a Cart," Toledo Museum of Art.

NEWARK, N.J.- Steven Lee Olson pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit theft of a Goya painting from an unattended truck. His neighbor Roman Szurko also pleaded guilty to the same charge on Tuesday. Steven Lee Olson of Carlstadt faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a fine of $250,000 under the reduced charge. Back in October Olson was charged with stealing Francisco de Goyas "Children with a Cart," from 1778.
Goyas painting was on its way to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City for an exhibition from the Toledo Museum of Art back in November 2006.
