Cheekwood Announces New Staff



NASHVILLE, TN.- Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art has added new staff members in Finance and Operations, and Programs and Exhibitions.

Becket Moore is Cheekwood’s new Vice President, Finance & Operations. Moore was most recently Director of Operations at the University School of Nashville and previously was Manager of Business Affairs at the University School. Moore also served as Director of Operations for Edsolutions in Nashville and area Manager of Kindercare Learning Centers in Nashville. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Ithaca College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California State University, Los Angeles.

A recent Watkins graduate, Anna Gonzalez is Cheekwood’s new Visitors Center Administrator. Gonzalez has spent the last year as an historic interpreter/greeter at Traveler’s Rest Plantation and Museum. She also completed a curatorial internship at the Parthenon Museum, and an exhibition design internship at the Tennessee State Museum.

Susan Bell is Cheekwood’s new Volunteer Coordinator. Bell is launching Cheekwood’s initiative to add new volunteer positions and increase our number of volunteers. Bell’s background is in non-profit volunteer management and has a proven record in establishing a successful new volunteer program.

Paul Ent is the new Executive Chef in Cheekwood’s Pineapple Room Restaurant. A former marine, Paul has extensive restaurant and catering experience having worked at Midtown Café, Sunset Grill, Pearl’s Café in Sewanee, and restaurants in Virginia.
