LOS ANGELES.- The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) announced the election of three new members to its Board of Trustees: Brigitte Bren, an attorney and co-founder of International Strategic Planning, Inc.; Eva Chow, renowned fashion designer and partner with her husband Michael Chow in the Mr. Chow restaurants; and Suzanne Kayne, a prominent realtor and philanthropist. Additionally, Dona Kendall has been appointed to Life Trustee.
Its fitting that the museums leadership ranks expand as both its gallery space and collections grow, said LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director Michael Govan. Such growth wouldnt be possible without longtime supporters like Dona Kendall. Its a great pleasure to honor her in the role of Life Trustee and to also welcome our new trustees.
LACMA board chair Andy Gordon noted, Brigitte Bren, Eva Chow, and Suzanne Kayne bring an added enthusiasm to our board. I am confident that their leadership will help propel us forward in the museums Transformation.
