NEW YORK, NY.- Known for spectacular art fairs in New York, London, Miami and Berlin, Bridge Art Fair is one of the most influential presenters of international emerging contemporary art. Well situated in the topperforming global art markets, Bridge has rapidly evolved from a satellite to a destination show in its own right, offering new finds for collectors and art professionals worldwide.

An independent presenter, Bridge showcases the freshest, most innovative work across all mediums and is recognized as a must-see show, drawing top collectors, artists, celebrities and art patrons. Bridge also presents an eclectic schedule of special programs, parties and receptions. Partnering with key cultural institutions, artist groups, association and media outlets, each Bridge show creates a dynamic international arts community interchange.

Following a highly acclaimed debut in 2008, Bridge New York 09 returns to the historic Waterfront Building, located in Manhattan's Chelsea's Gallery District. Taking place during the celebrated New York Armory Art Week, Bridge New York is noted as one of the most influential presenters of international emerging contemporary art, and a top destination for collectors, curators and arts patrons.

Bridge New York 09 features 50+ international exhibitors, with 60% from outside the United States. Building on the success of last year's film and performance projects, Bridge New York 09 will showcase a greatly expanded performance program, featuring internationally acclaimed artists and curators.

As in 2008, Bridge New York 09 will partner with major cultural institutions, cultural arts organizations, publications, local and international business to present a full schedule of parties, receptions, tours and special projects, to be announced.

The Bridge Art Fair will run from March 5 through the 8 at the Waterfront 222 W. 12th Avenue, Chelsea Gallery District
