Silent Auction to Raise Funds for the Latin American Pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennale

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY.- Sokoloff + Associates Art Advisors, Instituto Italo Americano and the participating artists and galleries cordially invite you to attend a silent auction to raise funds for the Latin American Pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennale. This event is supported by ArtNexus.

The silent auction will feature the work of: Alberto Baraya (Colombia), Darío Escobar (Guatemala), Sandra Gamarra (Perú), Federico Herrero (Costa Rica), Ramsés Larzabal (Cuba), Nils Nova (El Salvador), Raquel Paiewonsky (República Dominicana), Paul Ramírez Jonas (Honduras), Luis Roldán (Colombia) and Gastón Ugalde (Bolivia).

The Latin American Pavilion at Venice Biennale has been traditionally organized by the Instituto Italo Americano in Rome, an institution created by the Latin American and Italian government to organize activities that elevate the presence of Latin American arts and culture in Europe.

This year's edition will be hosted in the renowned Arsenale. Curated by Irma Arestizabal, it will include the following artists: Alberto Baraya (Colombia), Darío Escobar (Guatemala), Fernando Falconi Erazo (Ecuador), Sandra Gamarra (Perú), Carlos Garaicoa (Cuba), Federico Herrero (Costa Rica), Ramsés Larzabal (Cuba), Nils Nova (El Salvador), Raquel Paiewonsky (República Dominicana), Paul Ramírez Jonas (Honduras), Luis Roldán (Colombia) and Gastón Ugalde (Bolivia).
