LONDON. This September, Diesel expands on its Home Collection with the UK market launch of a lighting collection produced in collaboration with Italian innovative lighting company Foscarini. Called ‘Successful Living from Diesel with Foscarini’, the lighting collection has been designed by the Diesel Creative Team, headed by Wilbert Das, and forms part of a Home Collection, which also includes furniture manufactured by Moroso.

From rock to pop, from casual to vintage and from graphics to art. This is a completely new collection of lamps that speaks a multitude of languages, tells different stories and expresses and unmistakable style: the Diesel lifestyle.

Ironic, unconventional, fun, fiery and creative. A way of being and of dressing that also becomes a way of furnishing. Hard as metal, soft as fabric, slim as a luminous cage, shiny as chrome-plated glass, but always unique and different: Successful Living from Diesel with Foscarini.

Foscarini have signed a 4-year license agreement to develop and distribute the lighting. The new collection will be distributed through the best furniture and lighting showrooms as well as in Diesel flagship stores and in selected department stores concept stores and online.

Cage
Inspired by the lamps of miners and workers, the metal cage that protects the bulb becomes a decorative element, thanks to its artisan craftsmanship and characterizing colours.

Cage comes in three colours —glamorous white, fashionable black and green—each lamp changes in colour depending on whether the light is switched on and off.

Fork
The lampshade is the defining characteristic of this unique standing lamp. Inspired by casual fashion, the stitching on the fabric has been created to resemble that on jeans. When illuminated from within, the light reveals a canvas texture, which emits a warm light, perfect for creating a relaxing atmosphere.

The lampshade is very flexible and can be rotated 360°. Fork’s joints also make the stand mobile, which allows for numerous positions and angles of light.

Glas
The style of the Glas model can be compared to a rejuvenated version of the industrial lamps used in warehouses and factories.

It is a reinvented icon, created for a contemporary lifestyle, with the ability to transform its environment into a creative laboratory of new trends.

While switched off, the superficial chrome reflects the surrounding area like a mirror. When illuminated, Glas produces a warm beam that is both directed and diffused.

Rock
With a dark, rough outside and a smooth, shiny mother of pearl interior, this collection represents a fabulous interplay of surprises and contrasts that does not go unnoticed.

The random placement of facets reflect the light’s rays from the internal surface, creating a unique effect. The resulting illumination focuses on the space below, highlighting it.

Tri-P
With the ability to collapse and be carried anywhere, mobility is the main idea behind the Tri-P model, whose nomadic personality allows it to characterise the most varied spaces.

The lamp’s warm light is covered with a soft diffuser made of elastic fabric. Its transportable nature makes it incredibly versatile, while the touch of ‘dressing’ the metal support with the fabric diffuser is reminiscent of the world of fashion.

Stud
The look of this striking light is rock ‘n’ roll. With its imposing metal base resembling the studs on a Diesel belt, and diffuser that recalls mirrored glass, Stud represents a force of outrageous energy.

Stud’s light spreads throughout its environment, making it not merely a lamp, but a luminous totem in a hard rock environment. Its effect can be modified to resemble a chrome-plated incandescent bulb by rotating the half-chrome, half-transparent diffuser.

Graf
Like a work of contemporary pop art, Graf’s strong, visual personality can be used to add character to any space. The lampshade creates a unique and immediately recognisable style by featuring graphic elements that have inspired Diesel’s entire home collection. These style elements have been created especially for Graf, with a highly original graphic treatment, and a scale that varies according to the version—table, floor, or hanging. The fabric covering the diffuser comes in either techno or natural finish.
