NEW YORK, NY.- A Manhattan art company recently launched an innovative option for gift giving. nAscent Art New York, which represents almost 50 emerging artists, introduced a new art gift registry in anticipation of the holiday shopping season. The registry also helps newly engaged couples seeking a unique expression of their love.

Called ArtWish, the nAscent Art gift registry provides a different way to shop and celebrate. Using ArtWish, lovers of art create registries of original artwork for their friends and families to purchase as gifts. nAscent's unique service allows art to be accessible to anyone at a reasonable price. Many people can support the purchase of the selected original work, or a single person can pay for the entire artwork.

Some newlyweds have indulged in alternative registry options like honeymoon registries, charity registries, and even startup registries. Jennifer Wallace, co-founder of nAscent, had her own experience with registries, having recently walked down the aisle herself.

"I used a registry for my own wedding, and I wondered why art wasn't one of the options. So, I decided to create it in my company," said Wallace.

nAscent Art New York arose from a passion for art and a desire to preserve it. The founders, Jennifer and James Wallace have developed a fast growing company that embodies their beliefs about creativity, good commerce, and great art. Offering a diverse catalogue of art representing over a dozen national origins and media ranging from silk paintings to steel sculptures, nAscent has art to suit most every preference, and unmatched quality in their price range.

"Nearly all of our artists' work is under $20,000. We offer an incredible selection between a few hundred and a few thousand, not to mention limited edition prints and giclees. We really bring art back from the stratosphere to prices within reach of everyday people. ArtWish is just one more way to reach that goal," said nAscent co-founder James Wallace.
