PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN.- Architect Rafael Moneo stated in Palma his satisfaction for the expansion proposal of the Prado Museum. "It is a good project where the most professional knowledge of the architect is used and where the expressive intuition is not what counts," stated Moneo. For the first time Moneo compared his creative process of the "Cube" with the Kursaal of San Sebastian, where his "very personal" architectural intuition gave the answer to the project. Moneo said, "In the case of the Prado expansion it was a work where specific knowledge of the architect help solve the projectm, within very strict margins. From this point of view I think it is a good work."
