PARIS.- Following the appointment of Martin Bethenod as Director of Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana - François Pinault Foundation in Venice, Reed Expositions France, organisers of the FIAC art fair in Paris, have appointed Jennifer Flay as General Director of FIAC, effective as of June 7th, 2010.

As FIAC’s Artistic Director since 2004, Jennifer Flay formed with Martin Bethenod the partnership which has restructured, repositioned and re-energized FIAC with unanimously acclaimed success.

She will now be directing FIAC with the team they have formed over the course of the last five years. New appointments will be announced in the coming months.

Louis Algoud, President of Reed Expositions France said: « I would like to thank Martin Bethenod for the outstanding work accomplished at the head of the FIAC team, and wish him every success in his new role. »

Martin Bethenod said: « The confidence shown in me by François Pinault in entrusting me with the directorship of Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana is a mark of recognition for the work accomplished, with Jennifer Flay, in positioning FIAC at the highest international level. I am certain that FIAC has enormous potential, and that Jennifer will continue to develop the fair, with the outstanding team that we have put in place. »

The list of galleries taking part in the upcoming edition of FIAC (October 21st – 24th, 2010 at the Grand Palais, Cour Carrée of the Louvre and Tuileries Gardens, Paris) will be announced shortly. It will embody the exceptional and consistently reinforced quality of the fair.

The full programme for FIAC (exterior projects in the Tuileries, performances at the Auditorium of the Louvre, conferences, the Parcours Privé, prizes etc.) will be announced in July.
