Affordable Art Fair NYC Launching First Annual Fall Fair
AAF NYC Fall 2010 will appeal to both established collectors and first time buyers by presenting contemporary art priced from $100 - $10,000 by over 60 international and local galleries offering original paintings, sculptures, photographs, and works on paper.

NEW YORK, NY.- Following the record-breaking sales and attendance at the Affordable Art Fair New York City (AAF NYC) this spring, AAF NYC will launch its first annual Fall event in Manhattan from September 30 – October 3, 2010 at 7W New York ( 7 West 34th Street ). With AAF NYC now occurring twice a year, the fair will provide even more opportunities for emerging art collectors to view and purchase affordable art.

AAF NYC Fall 2010 will appeal to both established collectors and first time buyers by presenting contemporary art priced from $100 - $10,000 by over 60 international and local galleries offering original paintings, sculptures, photographs, and works on paper. Offering all new works of art this fall, there will be something for everyone!

“We’re thrilled to have the fun and accessible Affordable Art Fair New York City available in both the spring and fall,” says Judith Pineiro, Director of AAF NYC. “We continue to encourage both art enthusiasts and novices to visit the fair and find their own personal treasure to take home, and having AAF NYC offered twice a year will allow us to bring new works of art and new galleries to our visitors more often. This fall, we are excited to welcome a large number of first-time exhibitors, including galleries from Bulgaria , Costa Rica and the Czech Republic.”

Programs and events at AAF NYC Fall 2010 include a Private Preview Party, collecting and installing discussions, a wrapping station to bring home purchases from the fair, and a kids’ studio with fun workshop activities. New to AAF NYC will be a ‘live’ Open Artist Studio, offering a first-hand view of how an artist creates a masterpiece, and Free Admission Happy Hour, making art accessible to all by no admission charge from 6-8pm on Friday, October 1st.

AAF Past and Present
Will Ramsay had a goal of making contemporary art accessible by showing you don’t need to be an art expert or a millionaire to have original works of art by living artists in your home or office. He achieved that goal in 1999, when he launched the Affordable Art Fair (AAF) in London. Now eleven years later, AAF has become an outstanding global contemporary art fair with events taking place in Amsterdam, Bristol, Brussels, London, Melbourne, Milan, New York, Singapore, and Sydney. More than 700,000 people have attended Affordable Art Fairs around the world, purchasing over $170 million worth of art.
