SEATTLE, WA.- Almost everyone knows the name Pablo Picasso. Hailed by art historians as one of the most influential figures of the 20th Century, Pablo Picasso changed the way people understood art. Now the Seattle Art Museum offers the public a rare opportunity to discover some of Picasso’s major works. The Seattle museum begins its Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris exhibit on October 8, 2010. To celebrate this tour of Picasso work, the Renaissance Seattle Hotel has created a Picasso package that includes king room accommodations, tickets to the museum, self parking and amenities inspired by the artist. The deal is available now at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel.

Typically, the Musée National Picasso in Paris, France houses the majority of Picasso’s work; however, since the Parisian museum has closed for renovations, the art can now travel. Because of these unique circumstances, this might be the last time such an exhibit appears on North American shores. The Picasso pieces will visit only three American cities, including Seattle. Those interested in the show should plan their trip today as to not miss this one-of-a-kind chance to see Picasso’s artwork.

When scheduling a trip to the museum, Picasso admirers should consider the Renaissance Seattle Hotel. Located only a few blocks from the Seattle Art Museum, the Renaissance Seattle Hotel offers the perfect package to those interested in the Picasso exhibit. The Picasso Package includes two tickets to the artwork in addition to spacious, corner king accommodations. Guests will be treated to Picasso related amenities that symbolize Picasso’s different artistic phases: rose petal soap to celebrate the artist’s Rose Period, “Picassmo” cocktail for his Blue phase and a dessert for two representing his Cubism Period. Interested guests can book the Picasso Package online.
