LONDON.- With just over a week to go before the winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize is revealed, William Hill’s latest odds reveal Zaha Hadid’s MAXXI, National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome to be the favourite to win, with odds of 11/8.

The winner will be announced on Saturday 2 October at 7.30pm, broadcast live from The Roundhouse in London, on BBC TWO’s The Culture Show.

The RIBA Stirling Prize is run in association with The Architects' Journal and Benchmark, and is awarded to the architects of the building that has made the greatest contribution to British architecture in the past year.
The latest betting odds by William Hill are listed below:

• MAXXI, National Museum of XXI Century Arts, Rome by Zaha Hadid Architects (11/8)

• Neues Museum, Berlin by David Chipperfield Architects with Julian Harrap Architects (2/1)

• Clapham Manor Primary School, London by dRMM (5/1)

• Ashmolean Museum, Oxford by Rick Mather Architects (William Hill odds: 6/1)

• Christ's College School, Guildford by DSDHA (7/1)

• Bateman's Row, London by Theis and Khan (8/1)

The RIBA have also launched an online poll for the public to choose their favourite building, which can be accessed here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/D5GW3YN. To help voters decide, they can browse an online gallery of images of the shortlisted buildings, or watch video walkthroughs of each of the six buildings. The winner of the online poll will be made public on the day, and those on Twitter can follow the latest news on the RIBA Stirling Prize through the hashtag #ribastirlingprize.
