LONDON.- Launched during London Fashion Week, TEN TIMES ROSIE is a high-end fashion photography book featuring the bold and contemporary designs of Paula Thomas, founder and head designer of the luxury label Thomas Wylde, as shot by Rankin. The project marks a spectacular UK homecoming for a British designer whose work has achieved global acclaim. In this striking collection of images model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley takes on ten distinctive characters expressing the spirit of ten seasons of the label. The publication of this glossy coffee-table book is accompanied by an exhibition at Rankin’s Annroy Gallery, London, and will launch internationally in LA and Paris.

Shot on location in and around LA in April of this year at the Amboy Salt Flats, Joshua Tree National Park, the Château Marmont and downtown streets, TEN TIMES ROSIE epitomises the creativity and theatrical flair of Rankin, Paula Thomas and stylist Maryam Malakpour. Atmospheric, raw and cinematic, each vision embodies the diverse inspirations behind ten seasons of Thomas Wylde; from shamanic African Highlander to porcelain circus doll and aggressive London punk.

TEN TIMES ROSIE is a hugely exciting project from a British designer who has found fame in LA and internationally and now returns to the UK to claim her place amongst the nation's favourite designers. This September sees Thomas Wylde available in the UK for the first time. Paula comments: “This is a very special project for me. London and my experience of it inform the aesthetic of Thomas Wylde. It means a lot to work on this with two other internationally renowned British talents and to launch the book in the UK during London Fashion Week. Each series in the book is the perfect expression of the drama of my work.”

Super sexy and empowered Thomas Wylde has become a global success with designs finding their way into the closets of the world's biggest celebrities; including Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Heidi Klum, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna.

This was a dream project for model Rosie. She says: "Shooting TEN TIMES ROSIE was the most incredible experience of my career. Paula, Rankin and the team worked so hard, the set had an amazing community atmosphere. I think we have created some beautiful and iconic images. I'm so proud of this project and I believe it’s something that is very close and personal to all of us as it’s a combined effort of our creativity and imagination." Rosie has just begun filming on her first feature film. Transformers 3 will be on general release in July 2011.

Fashion Editor and Consultant Maryam Malakpour styled the shoots. She has worked on several collections for Thomas Wylde. Maryam is a well sought after stylist who has contributed to magazines such as L’Officiel, L’Uomo Vogue, Vanity Fair, and British Vogue.

TEN TIMES ROSIE (£40) is available to purchase from Turnaround, www.turnaround-uk.com and all good bookstores. The exhibition will run from 21st September – 29th October at Annroy Gallery, London.
