FORT COLLINS (AP).- A woman accused of destroying a piece of artwork in Colorado that was denounced as being obscene has pleaded not guilty.

Kathleen Folden entered her plea Friday in Fort Collins. The 56-year-old truck driver from Kalispell, Mont., is charged with one count of criminal mischief, a felony that carries a penalty of between two and six years.

She was arrested Oct. 6 in a museum after witnesses said she used a crowbar to smash glass shielding the print by California artist Enrique Chagoya.

Critics say the work depicted Jesus engaged in a sex act. But Chagoya says it's not Christ, but a collage aimed at showing how the church has corrupted spirituality.

In court, Folden wore a T-shirt depicting a cross with bloody nails and a reference to a Bible verse.
